Yes you heard right, Jen had a baby boy!  Woo hoo!

Jen’s been married to her husband Ken since August 2011, so this baby will be such an extra special anniversary gift for them. This is their first child and they are very excited!

They had everything planned out and ready for the baby’s arrival, such as recently buying a house in Ramsey big enough for their growing family.  She delivered their child at Maple Grove hospital and they’re deciding on a name A couple of possibilities: Avery or Austin.  They will make a final decision soon.

Jen will be taking off 2-3 months of maternity leave, and although we will miss Jen while she’s gone, she’s been working really closely with Alicia who will be stepping up to the plate to help handle Jen’s responsibilities while she’s away.  Alicia will keep everything running smoothly here at Checkerboard and will be able to answer all of your questions!
