Hasn’t your boss ever told you that time is money? Well, in the Facebook world that old adage is literally true. Socialnomics, a site chock-full of fun social media information (they also have a book that looks pretty interesting), posted an article that reveals the best time to make Facebook posts.
So when is the time ripe for posting?
According to the article, any weekday between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. is ideal, with the biggest usage spike occurring at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. If you’re making a post that is targeted to a specific market area, be sure to account for time zone differences. Don’t waste great content by posting it when no one is going to be reading it; use these times to get the most out of your work.
If social media marketing is still a little baffling to you or you just want to brush up on your skills, Jason, the president of Checkerboard, has a great class coming up that I recommend: Crafting a Standout Social Media Plan.
