Last month, I posted a blog about a local coffee shop that wanted to know how they could allow their customers to order and pay over their phones. The manager of The Buzz Coffee and Café asked about mobile application development and if it would be the route to go for something like this.

Getting involved with m-Commerce is a smart move, considering that today people are more connected to their smart phones than most everything else. That conversation with the manager of The Buzz sparked me to get an Apple Developer’s License, so now Checkerboard is able to write and set up mobile applications.  You still have to decide the best time to make the jump to a custom application; there may be other options you could try as we suggested to The Buzz.  We are eager to work with you on application development, so don’t hesitate to contact us if it’s something you want to get involved in.
