Window World gets a “window” to its Minnesota branch
Window World is the nation’s number-one company for window replacement. With hundreds of branches all over the U.S., Window World of Minnesota needed a PowerSite that could showcase the excellence and span of this national company as well as function as a local window resource for Minnesotans.
Its PowerSite utilizes the WordPress multi-site function, allowing Window World to have seven sites controlled by a single dashboard. To maximize its different services, Window World has a generic site connecte to sites specifically geared toward windows, insulation, gutters, doors, siding and roofing. This network enables posts to be made to specific or multiple sites at the same time, as well as enabling videos and news to publish to all relevant sites. It also provides the option for sliders and advertisements to show on every site. These sites are easily controlled, and can seamlessly be switched from one to another, using the single dashboard.
Pages and posts between the seven sites can be a mix of static and information unique to each site, which allows for service-specific pages to seamlessly intertwine with generic Window World information. Sidebars can stay consistent throughout every site without having to make numerous versions of each one. Form entries also can be stored in one easy-to-use location.
All Window World products are listed on separate pages with unique resource pages to help customers compare brands, prices and companies. A support page streams throughout the sites with a repair center, storm damage and warranty information, as well as a form to submit a problem. Customer testimonials are in both post and video format, and have the option to show on individual sites or all seven.
To optimize the union between its PowerSite and Facebook Page, we added an easy Facebook “Like” button to posts and pages, allowing for easy sharing and tracking of how many people “like” content. Another great customization we added is the ability to handle different post categories in the menu instead of just a category, allowing for easy organization, editing and posting.
Window World of Minnesota has a complex set of news, information, resources, services and support that is made easy through the multi-site function and other customized tools. Window World’s PowerSite drives its goal to expand throughout Minnesota.

American Rare Coin and Collectibles wanted to revamp its old website and increase customer engagement. Its new PowerSite has separate sites built for sellers, buyers and general information to link the correct content with the right audience. Each easy-to-use site is assigned a color: purple, orange and grey to further distinguish one from the other.
